AEW Europe buys the Celsius Portfolio , ING and Natixis joint bookrunners

Paris, France, November 12, 2015

An institutional investor, acting together with AEW Europe, has bought the Celsius Portfolio from the CBRE Retail Property Fund France Belgium CV. Totaling circa 221,000 sqm, the Celsius Portfolio comprises interests in the Waasland and Wijnegem shopping centers, two dominant regional shopping centers located near Antwerp in Belgium.

The remaining eight assets are located across France, including large urban shopping centers La Vache Noire in Paris and Centre Mayol in Toulon, as well as some smaller retail parks and factory outlets.

The €670m financing was arranged and underwritten by ING and Natixis being Mandated Lead Arrangers and Bookrunners. ING also acted as Documentation Agent and Facility Agent.

ING and Natixis were advised by the law offices of De Pardieu Brocas Maffei, Allen & Overy and the notary offices of Cheuvreux (France) and Marcellis (Belgium).
