Claude Valade appointed CEO of Natixis Factor and member of Natixis’ Executive Committee

Paris, France, March 7, 2017

Claude Valade has been appointed Chief Executive Officer of Natixis Factor and member of Natixis’ Executive Committee. He is replacing Christophe Carles who will join Natixis’ Corporate & Investment Banking arm as Senior Banker in February. Claude Valade served as member of the Management Board of Caisse d’Epargne Bretagne-Pays de Loire where he headed the Regional Development Bank division. He will take up his new duties in March.

Claude Valade began his career at BRED Banque Populaire where he remained for seven years. He then joined Banque SanPaolo (now Banque Palatine) and served in a number of sales positions before being appointed branch manager.

Claude returned to the Banque Populaire network in 1992, in Bourgogne Franche-Comté, where he held various sales management positions. He later became head of the southern network in Dijon. In 2006, he took up the position of Network Manager at Banque Populaire du Nord, and in 2010 was appointed Deputy CEO of Operations (Network and Development).

Since November 2013, Claude has been a member of the Management Board of Caisse d’Epargne Bretagne-Pays de Loire where he was in charge of the Regional Development Bank division.

Claude Valade is 55 and graduated from Institut Technique de Banque.

Natixis Factor is the factoring subsidiary of Groupe BPCE and handled factoring volumes of almost €34.8bn in 2015, making it one of the French leaders in the domestic and international factoring business. Natixis Factor is chiefly dedicated to serving clients of the Banque Populaire and Caisse d’Epargne networks, in addition to Natixis clients.
