De Doan Tran joins Natixis as member of the Senior Management Committee, in charge of CIB
Natixis announced today the appointment of De Doan Tran as member of the Senior Management Committee, in charge of the corporate and investment banking business.
De Doan Tran spent most of his career at Société Générale (1984-2009) where he held a number of prominent positions in Paris, London and Hong Kong, in the Finance department and in Corporate and Investment Banking. Since September 2007, De Doan Tran has been head of Corporate & Investment Banking Asia-Pacific in Hong Kong.
He will head the Corporate and Investment Banking core business division which is organized into three departments: Corporate and Institutional Relations, Capital Markets and Debt & Finance.
As part of his assignments, De Doan Tran will implement the New Deal strategic plan which entails focusing CIB on its priority clients, such as corporates and financial institutions, on pursuing all cross selling possibilities as well as international development, including Asia, while integrating the new risk profile.

Biography:
De Doan Tran began his career in 1978 as a research analyst at Dafsa Global Insight and then finance manager at Kraft General Foods. He joined Société Générale in 1984 as financial controller. In 1988 he became a senior relationship manager. In 1992, he was named Head of Property Finance and in 1995 De Doan Tran was appointed Global Head of Securitization.
In 1998, he became Global Head of Financial Engineering. In 2001, he was made Head of the Client Management Unit in London for the Debt Finance Division (DEFI) before moving to the Coverage Division in 2003, where he will first hold the position of Head of Marketing and Client Management and then of Global Head of Financial Institutions Group.
In 2007, he was appointed Head of Corporate & Investment Banking Asia-Pacific in Hong Kong. De Doan Tran 53 years of age holds a degree from HEC Paris (1978).
