Etienne Varloot appointed Global Head of Market Risks

Paris, France, June 20, 2011

Etienne Varloot has been appointed Global Head of Market Risks within Natixis’ Risk department. The Market Risk department groups together the teams in charge of monitoring Natixis’ market risks throughout the world.

Etienne Varloot has 18 years experience, of which twelve years in market finance in Paris and London. After holding analyst, strategist and then trading positions at Citigroup and UBS, he was deputy head of Market and Credit Risk at Banque de France since 2009. In his new duties, he will report to Jacques Beyssade, Chief Risk Officer and member of Natixis’ Executive Committee.

Etienne Varloot, 43, is an engineer (Lyon Ecole Centrale and Columbia University), an actuary and an INSEAD MBA graduate.
