Ian Burn appointed Global Head of Cash Equity
Ian Burn has been appointed Global Head of Cash Equity at Natixis, within the Wholesale Banking division. Based in London, he reports to Luc François, Head of Global Markets at Natixis.
Ian Burn began his career in 1983 as a local on the LIFFE floor, before joining the Equities department at Citicorp Scrimgeour Vickers in 1984 and then moving to Lehman Brothers in 1989 where he was appointed Head of UK Equity sales. In 2000, he moved to Bear Stearns as Head of European Equity sales, before being appointed Global Head of Equity sales and sales trading at ING in 2008 and MainFirst Bank in 2011.
Ian Burn holds a Bachelor of Science in Agricultural and Food Marketing from Newcastle University, United Kingdom.
