Matthieu Douchet, Partner, was appointed member of the Executive Board of Initiative & Finance Gestion.
Matthieu Douchet, age 42, joined Initiative & Finance in 2002 after working for four years as an investor in the South West of France where he set up private equity and LBO operations. Holder of a D.E.S.S. (buy-in/buy-out financing) and of an MBA, Matthieu Douchet began his career as an M&A consultant and created his own firm.
Initiative & Finance is a private equity investment firm, listed on the stock market with NPE as major shareholder. It provides support to small and medium-size businesses in all types of operations such as OBOs, buy-in/buy-out financing, capital restructuring, spin-offs, external growth. Since its creation in 1984, Initiative & Finance carried out over 260 investment operations for firms valued at up to €75 million.
