Natixis Announces Senior Hire and Appointments at Natixis Global Asset Management
- Oliver Bilal joins Natixis Global Asset Management as Head of International Sales and Marketing overseeing all related distribution and institutional activities across Europe, Asia, Latin America and the Middle East. Mr. Bilal previously was with UBS Asset Management where he served as Head of EMEA. He will report to Jean Raby, member of Natixis Senior Management Committee, CEO of Natixis Global Asset Management, and will serve on the Executive Committee and Strategic Committee of Natixis Global Asset Management.
- Beverly Bearden, Executive Vice President of Human Resources, Natixis Global Asset Management, has also been appointed Deputy Chief Executive Officer. Ms. Bearden will report to Jean Raby and serve on the Executive Committee and Strategic Committee of Natixis Global Asset Management.
- Fabrice Chemouny, former Executive Vice President of International Institutional Sales, Natixis Global Asset Management, has been appointed Head of Asia Pacific, effective from September. In this role he will oversee distribution activities and business development in the region and manage day-to-day relationships with investment affiliates in Asia Pacific. Mr. Chemouny will report to Oliver Bilal in relation to his sales and marketing role and to Jean Raby in relation to his role with affiliates in the region.
- Chris Jackson, former International Deputy CEO, Natixis Global Asset Management, has been appointed Chief International Operations Officer. In this role he will oversee legal, compliance, finance, product and strategy functions as well as assume leadership for key initiatives. Mr. Jackson will report to Jean Raby and serve on the Executive Committee of Natixis Global Asset Management.
- Cyril Marie, Head of Strategy & Corporate Development, Natixis Global Asset Management, has also been appointed Deputy Chief Financial Officer. Mr. Marie will report to Geoffroy Sartorius, CFO of Natixis Global Asset Management, in his role as Deputy CFO and to Jean Raby in his role as Head of Strategy and Corporate Development. He will serve on the Executive Committee and Strategic Committee of Natixis Global Asset Management.
Beverly Bearden, Oliver Bilal, and David Giunta, President and CEO for the U.S. and Canada for Natixis Global Asset Management, will join Natixis Executive Committee. Mr. Giunta will also be a member of the Strategy Committee of Natixis Global Asset Management.

Beverly Bearden
Ms. Bearden is Deputy Chief Executive Officer of Natixis Global Asset Management and Executive Vice President of Human Resources. She serves on the Executive Committee and Strategic Committee of Natixis Global Asset Management as well as the Executive Committee of Natixis. Prior to joining Natixis Global Asset Management in 1992 Ms. Bearden served as Second Vice President of Human Resources for New England Financial. Before that, she served as a Human Resource generalist for Citicorp Information Resources, Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of Citicorp. She is a graduate of Colby College.
Oliver Bilal
Mr. Bilal is Head of International Sales and Marketing, overseeing all related distribution and institutional activities across Europe, Asia, Latin America and the Middle East for Natixis Global Asset Management. He serves on the Executive Committee and Strategic Committee of Natixis Global Asset Management as well as the Executive Committee of Natixis. Mr. Bilal previously served as Head of EMEA for UBS Asset Management. Prior to that he served as Chief Executive Officer of Baroda Pioneer Investments in Mumbai, Managing Director and Head of Sales and Marketing for Pioneer Investments in Germany, and European Head of Institutional Business Development and Consultant Relations for Allianz Global Investors Europe. He graduated from the University of Applied Sciences of Braunschweig-Wolfenbüttel and holds a Master of Business Administration from the University of Chicago Graduate School of Business.
Fabrice Chemouny
Mr. Chemouny is Head of Asia Pacific for Natixis Global Asset Management overseeing distribution activities and business development in Asia Pacific and managing day-to-day relationships with investment affiliates in the region. In his previous role as Executive Vice President of International Institutional Sales for Natixis Global Asset Management he managed institutional sales and services around the world including SWF coordination, global consultant relationships and the Investment Marketing/RFP process. He joined Natixis Global Asset Management in 2003 and earlier served as EVP of International Strategy and Marketing and Head of International Business Development and Affiliate Coordination. He joined Natixis from CDC IXIS Group where served as senior analyst in the Strategy Department and founded IXIS Ventures, a structure dedicated to the identification and financing of innovative projects in the field of e-finance. He holds a master’s degree in management from the University Paris IX Dauphine.
Chris Jackson
Mr. Jackson is Chief International Operations Officer of Natixis Global Asset Management overseeing legal, compliance, finance, product and strategy functions, leading key initiatives, and providing support to European investment affiliates. He serves on the Executive Committee of Natixis Global Asset Management. In his previous role as International Deputy Chief Executive Officer of Natixis Global Asset Management he was responsible for all international core support teams including marketing, product development, product and market Intelligence, product specialists, operations, legal, risk, compliance, strategy, change management and portfolio research and consulting. Prior to that he served as Head of International Product and Head of UK Retail for Natixis Global Asset Management. Mr. Jackson joined Natixis in 2013 after a 20-year career with M&G Investments, including 10 years as Product Director overseeing all product development, management and research. Prior to that he was responsible for establishing M&G’s strategic alliances with platforms and supermarkets. He is a graduate of Loughborough University.
David Giunta
Mr. Giunta is President and Chief Executive Officer for the U.S. and Canada at Natixis Global Asset Management where he is responsible for leading both distribution and the firm’s affiliated investment managers in the region. He serves on the Executive Committee and Strategic Commi7.ittee of Natixis Global Asset Management as well as the Executive Committee of Natixis. He joined Natixis in 2008 and was previously President and Chief Executive Officer of U.S. and Canadian distribution. He previously worked at Fidelity Investments for 14 years. He joined Fidelity in 1994 as Vice President for the Fidelity Personal Investments and Brokerage Group. Later he served as Senior Vice President in charge of Fidelity’s Eastern Region Investor Centers, director of Fidelity’s Private Wealth Management Products & Services Group and Senior Vice President of the Fidelity Managed Money Group for Personal Investments. Prior to joining Fidelity, Mr. Giunta served as an analyst at BankBoston and was assistant Vice President of new product development for Putnam Investments. He received a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting from Bentley College in 1987 and an MBA from Boston College in 1991. He also is a CPA.
