Progress of the merger project between Banque Privée Saint Dominique and La Compagnie 1818 - Banquiers Privés -

Paris, France, February 9, 2009

Natixis is carrying on with the mergers of its two private banking businesses in line with the schedule decided on last year and with the full agreement of its main shareholders, Banque Fédérale des Banques Populaires and Caisse Nationale des Caisses d’Epargne.

For the merger to be prepared in the best of conditions, we have decided to proceed with the following appointments:

  • PaulLouis Netter, currently Chief Executive Officer of Banque Privée Saint Dominique, was appointed Chairman of the Executive Board of La Compagnie 1818 - Banquiers Privés ,
  • Sophie Lazarevitch, currently a member of the Executive Board of La Compagnie 1818 – Banquiers privés , was appointed Deputy Chief Executive Officer of Banque Privée Saint Dominique.

The two fo them will hold concurrently both positions within Banque Privée Saint Dominique et La Compagnie 1818 – Banquiers privés -.

 

 

Paul-Louis Netter began his career in 1975 and soon specialized in third-party asset management. He became a member of the Executive Board of Assurances Banque Populaire in 1988, and in 1997 he was appointed Chairman of Fructiger, a real-estate management firm. At the creation of Banque Populaire Asset Management in 1998, he became Chief Executive Officer of this firm. Since 2003, he had headed Banque Privée Saint Dominique as Chief Executive Officer. Paul-Louis Netter eis also a member of the Bureau and Chairman of the tac commission of AFG (Association Française de la Gestion).

Paul-Louis Netter, 60 years old, is a graduate from Institut d’Etudes Politiques de Paris and holds a masters degree in Law

Sophie Lazarevitch spent some ten years in advisory specialized in the Banking/Finance sector at Sema Metra followed by Eurogroup Consultants and finally Atos Consulting Finance, she joined the financial sector in 1998 and held the position of Adminsitrative Director at Euroland Finance. In 2000, she was appointed member of the Executive Board and Chief Executive Officer of Véga Finance which, in 2005, will become one of elements constituting La Compagnie 1818 - Banquiers Privés – Since 2005, she has been a member of the Executive Board and Deputy Chief Executive Officer in charge of the Finance and Production sector of La Compagnie 1818 – Banquiers Privés -.

Sophie Lazarevitch, 48 years old, is a graduate of HEC.
