Selim Mehrez has been appointed Global Head of Equity Derivatives at Natixis

Selim Mehrez has been appointed Global Head of Equity Derivatives at Natixis. He will take up his position on January 1, 2014. Based in Paris, he will report to Luc François, Head of Global Markets at Wholesale Banking.

Selim Mehrez began his career in 1996 as a consultant at Telemate, before joining Cegetel in 1998 as an engineer, then Sita Equant in 1999. In 2001, he was appointed equity derivatives financial engineer at Société Générale CIB in Paris. He was then promoted Head of Equity Derivatives Pricing and New products for EMEA in 2005, and moved to Goldman Sachs in London in 2007 as Deputy Head of Structuring for EMEA in the Equities department. From 2008 to 2011, he was Head of Pricing and New Products for EMEA at Cross Asset Solutions at Société Générale CIB in Paris.

 

Since 2011, Selim has been Global Head of Financial Engineering & Derivative Strategies at Morgan Stanley in London.

Selim Mehrez, aged 40, holds an engineering degree with honours from the Ecole Nationale Supérieure de Télécommunications of Paris.
