Before moving to the Sydney office, he was an Executive Director in the Acquisition & Strategic Finance team in Paris, where he was involved in a large number of transactions as mandated lead arranger, including Primary LBO (P-to-P, spin-off), Secondary LBO, Management Buyouts, Dividend Recapitalizations and Bolt-on Acquisitions. Prior to this he spent two years in Natixis’ London office, working in the bank’s Leveraged Loan Syndication group.

Jean-Thomas’ appointment further strengthens Natixis’ Structured and Asset Finance business in Australia, following the appointments last year of Bertrand Guiot and Marcus Lorentz in Global Infrastructure & Projects and Aaron Fleming in Global Energy & Commodities.

Michael Lang commented, “We are delighted to welcome Jean -Thomas to our Sydney team. His appointment reflects Natixis’ commitment to Australia and is fully aligned with our strategy to expand our presence in the region and extend to our clients operating here the strength and breadth of Natixis’ global expertise.”
